My name is Aileen Montag. I am a Speech Language Pathologist that has been working with children for the past 16 years. I have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from Queens College, City University of New York and have worked with varied ages and populations, with most of my experience focused on younger children.

I have been working the past few years with children on the Autism spectrum and have a passion for this population. I have also supervised graduate students and CFYs and love sharing information and seeing therapists grow!

I have designed Insight Speech as a site where therapists and parents can send questions about their children and clients and read free handouts of information on various speech and language topics. I have a passion for learning as much as I can about the children that I serve. I have written several articles (several published in Advance magazine for Speech and Language Pathologists). These articles are available for reading at this site by clicking on the articles link.

I have also written several ebooks (available for purchase by clicking the e-Books link) which contain helpful information for parents and therapists of children with speech and language difficulties.

The eBooks link provides information on each of the eBooks, including a table of contents & excerpt for each book. If you are a therapist or parent of a child with special needs and are looking for some helpful advice, please click the Help Center link. The Help Center link allows you to submit a general speech and language question, or a question or concern specifically related to your child or client.

Please click the tidbits of info link to read short summaries of topics related to speech and language for children.
